Fatal Shooting at East Nashville Gas Station Leaves One Dead

Nashville, Tenn. — Metro Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday night at a gas station in East Nashville. The incident took place at the Z Mart convenience store located on the 800 block of Dickerson Pike at approximately 9:50 p.m.

According to the Metro Police Department, two men were involved in an altercation at the store when the situation escalated. During the confrontation, the suspect pulled out a firearm and shot 35-year-old Ivorie Lee. The suspect fled the scene shortly after firing the shots.

Lee was rushed to Skyline Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries. Authorities have not released any additional details about the incident or the suspect at this time.
