Nashville, TN – The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a shooting that took place earlier this month along Interstate 40.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. on Sunday, January 12, near the Fesslers Lane exit of I-40. The victim, 26-year-old Uriel Miller, was reportedly fired upon by the driver or owner of a silver Honda Odyssey minivan. The MNPD has stated that the vehicle is believed to be a 2015 model.

A video captured by a truck driver’s dashboard camera revealed key details of the incident. The footage shows the Honda Odyssey following Miller’s Crown Victoria sedan before the minivan abruptly changed lanes and pulled up alongside the passenger side of Miller’s vehicle. It was at that moment that shots were fired.

Authorities have released images of the suspect vehicle in the hopes that someone may recognize it or have information that could aid in the investigation. Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information about the vehicle or the shooter to come forward.

Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact the MNPD or Crime Stoppers.
