Knox County, TN – Detectives with the Knoxville Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man connected to a violent assault that occurred at an apartment complex earlier this week.
According to investigators, the assault happened during the afternoon of May 21 at the Southside Flats Apartments. Police said the suspect allegedly assaulted a woman with a tire iron, causing severe injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
The department’s Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation and released a photo of the suspect in an effort to identify him.
