RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. — Authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection with the shooting of a young boy in Rutherford County. The suspect, 19-year-old Taliek Gallishaw-King, is also out on bond for a separate attempted murder charge in Smyrna.
According to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, Gallishaw-King is facing charges of evidence tampering and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon following the shooting of a 4-year-old child on Saturday, February 22. Deputies were called to a residence on Tessa Grace Road early that morning after receiving reports of a gunshot victim. Initially, the sheriff’s office reported that Gallishaw-King was also wanted for attempted first-degree murder in a separate case in Smyrna. However, they later clarified that Gallishaw-King had been previously arrested for attempted murder in Smyrna and is currently out on bond for that charge.
