Pedestrian Dies After Hit-and-Run on Trinity Lane

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Trinity Lane and the Interstate 65 North exit ramp.

The crash occurred around 2 a.m. when the vehicle hit the pedestrian, who was then transported to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, the victim later succumbed to their injuries.

Metro police reported that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision. Authorities are actively investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

At this time, no additional details about the pedestrian or the vehicle involved have been released. Investigators continue to work on gathering evidence to identify the driver.
