Teenager Hospitalized Following Shooting at Clarksville Tobacco Store

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening at Chum’s Discount Tobacco Store in Clarksville, leaving a 15-year-old boy injured.

The Clarksville Police Department responded to a 911 call shortly before 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, from an individual at 101st Adult Dentistry. The caller reported that his passenger had been shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered the teenager with a gunshot wound, but further investigation revealed that the shooting had actually taken place at the tobacco store, located in the 800 block of Peachers Mill Road.

The victim was promptly transported to Tennova Healthcare for treatment. As of now, authorities have not released any information regarding his current condition.

Police are urging anyone in the area of Chum’s Discount Tobacco Store to review their surveillance footage for any suspicious activity around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Investigators are seeking additional leads to help determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

At this time, the Clarksville Police Department has not provided further details, and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact 911 or the local authorities.
