NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning in West Nashville, leaving one woman injured.

Metro police responded to the scene on the 5800 block of Maudina Avenue shortly after 12:40 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the woman had sustained a gunshot wound to her arm. Fortunately, her injuries were not life-threatening.
