NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Two people, including a juvenile, were injured in a shooting Thursday evening in East Nashville. The incident was reported shortly after 6 p.m. in the 600 block of South 5th Street.
According to authorities on the scene, one of the victims was a male juvenile, while the other was an adult woman. Both victims sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
As of Thursday evening, there were no updates on potential suspects or the motive behind the shooting. Metro Nashville Police Department officials confirmed that they are actively interviewing witnesses as part of their investigation.
