Shooting Incident at Madison Hotel Leaves One Man Injured

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A shooting early Wednesday morning at a hotel in Madison left one man injured, according to Metro Police.

Officers responded to a reported shooting at the InTown Suites on Myatt Drive just before 1:30 a.m. Upon arrival, investigators learned that two men had been involved in a heated argument inside a hotel room. During the altercation, one of the individuals allegedly opened fire on the other.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was quickly transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. However, authorities have stated that the man is expected to survive his injuries.

Metro Police are continuing to investigate the incident. No arrests have been made at this time, and authorities have not disclosed further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the dispute.

The shooting has raised concerns about safety in the area, though police emphasize that the situation appears to have been isolated to the individuals involved.
