ANTIOCH, Tenn. — A major law enforcement operation early Sunday morning led to the detention of more than 100 people at a nightclub in Antioch, Tennessee. The raid, which involved a heavy response from multiple federal and local agencies, has resulted in three individuals being formally charged in connection with drug trafficking activities at two local nightclubs.

The raid targeted the Miami Club and Paisanos, two establishments located on Antioch Pike, after an investigation spanning 18 months uncovered extensive drug-related activities at both venues. Authorities say the clubs were known for frequent violent incidents, including fights, shootings, and thefts, prompting over 400 calls for police service.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee, three men were arrested during the raid: 37-year-old Rimon Salim, 44-year-old Antuan Rhodes, and 35-year-old Jorge Luis. Salim, the owner of both the Miami Club and Paisanos, faces serious charges for maintaining drug-involved premises and distributing controlled substances. Court documents indicate that he has been operating both venues for over a year, with Paisanos functioning as a nightclub on weekends and Miami Club hosting after-parties in the early morning hours.

Luis, a Mexican national without legal status in the United States, and Rhodes, both face charges of distributing controlled substances. Luis allegedly sold cocaine to undercover agents inside Paisanos’ bathroom on several occasions, while Salim and Rhodes are accused of trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine at Miami Club from August 2024 to March 2025.

The charges are severe, with Salim potentially facing up to 20 years in federal prison for maintaining a drug-involved premises and up to life in prison for distributing controlled substances. Luis and Rhodes each face up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $1 million per count.

“This operation exemplifies the effectiveness of collaboration between federal, state, and local agencies who have united to combat a drug trafficking operation,” said Special Agent in Charge Joseph E. Carrico of the FBI Nashville Field Office. “The FBI remains committed to working with our partners to keep illegal drugs off our streets and holding those accountable for endangering our communities.”

The investigation, which included undercover surveillance, was a collaborative effort between several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, DEA, ATF, Homeland Security Investigations, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

The raid marks a significant blow to drug trafficking operations in the Antioch area, sending a strong message about the authorities’ commitment to curbing illegal activities that impact community safety.
