One Dead, Several Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — A fatal crash on Middle Tennessee Boulevard Monday evening has left one person dead and several others hospitalized, authorities said.

According to the Murfreesboro Police Department, the crash occurred just before 6:45 p.m. Monday, between Park Avenue and Haley Road. The collision involved two vehicles, and emergency responders were quick to arrive on the scene.

One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while several others were transported to local hospitals for treatment. As of the latest reports, one of the injured is listed in critical condition, while two others are in stable condition. Their identities have not been released at this time.

The crash prompted the closure of Middle Tennessee Boulevard for several hours as investigators worked to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Murfreesboro Police Department’s Fatal Accident Crash Team is continuing the investigation, but no further details have been disclosed.
