Freight Train Collides with Truck in Belle Meade, One Injured

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A collision between a freight train and a truck left one person injured in the Belle Meade area on Saturday morning. The crash occurred at the intersection of Harding Pike and Post Road when the freight train struck a truck that was hauling several other cars.

Officials from the Nashville Fire Department confirmed that the individual involved in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, and the injured person was transported for medical treatment.

The incident has caused significant traffic delays in the area, with Harding Pike and Post Road partially blocked off as authorities work to clear the scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the affected areas and seek alternate routes to prevent further congestion.
