FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Authorities in Franklin have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred last week. The incident, which resulted in the death of 32-year-old Lattarius Johnson, is being investigated as a homicide.

On Tuesday, February 11, at around 6:30 p.m., the Franklin Police Department responded to a call on Valor Court. Upon arrival, officers discovered Johnson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

After several days of investigation, Franklin police arrested 37-year-old Robert Lee Fitzgerald, Jr. on Monday, February 17, charging him with criminal homicide. Fitzgerald is currently being held at the Williamson County Jail on a $1 million bond.
