Nashville, TN – A fire overnight caused significant damage to multiple units at a condominium complex in the Donelson area of Nashville. The Nashville Fire Department (NFD) responded to the scene on the 200 block of Timberway Drive shortly after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, after a caller reported smoke coming from the building.

Upon arrival, fire crews found a top-floor unit and part of a lower-level unit engulfed in flames. Firefighters immediately began rescue operations, successfully removing one person who had become trapped inside. The person’s condition has not been released.

NFD crews worked tirelessly through the night to contain the blaze and clear the scene, with operations continuing until around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Video footage taken by News 2 showed extensive damage to the building, including a collapsed unit and the destruction of several others.

A total of four occupied units were affected by the fire, though it is unclear at this time how many residents were displaced. Fortunately, no additional injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by authorities. The Nashville Fire Department is expected to release more details as they continue to assess the situation.

Residents in the area are urged to avoid the scene as cleanup and investigation efforts continue.
