Mt. Juliet, Tenn. — Three suspects, wanted for various crimes across multiple counties, were arrested in two separate incidents by the Mt. Juliet Police Department.
In the first incident, a Mt. Juliet officer observed a vehicle that matched the description of a suspect involved in a recent shoplifting case at a local sporting goods store. The vehicle was not only linked to the shoplifting case, but also displayed an expired temporary tag and exhibited what officers described as “suspicious behavior.” Upon further investigation, authorities confirmed that the driver, a 50-year-old woman from Hendersonville, was indeed a suspect in the Sunday shoplifting case. Police also discovered that she had stolen a pair of shoes just the day before the arrest.
The passenger, a 34-year-old woman from Nashville, was also found to have an active warrant out of Wilson County for a probation violation related to drug possession.
In a second incident, a Mt. Juliet officer noticed a suspicious vehicle at a gas station near Interstate 40. After recognizing the driver, authorities confirmed that the 32-year-old woman from Nashville was wanted by both Davidson County for child abuse charges and by Wilson County for failure to appear in court since 2020.
The arrests mark another successful operation by Mt. Juliet Police in apprehending suspects wanted for various offenses across multiple jurisdictions. The department continues to encourage the public to report suspicious activity, which can help in the resolution of ongoing investigations.
