Authorities were called to a home in the 2700 block of Hydes Ferry Road at approximately 8:39 p.m. on Friday, April 11, after receiving a 911 call reporting the incident.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the house secured, prompting them to force their way inside. Once inside, law enforcement discovered an AR-style rifle and blood stains, but no individuals were present at the residence.

Around an hour later, at approximately 9 p.m., police were alerted to a gunshot victim at Nashville General Hospital.
