NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Law enforcement officials were seen surrounding a residence in Antioch on Wednesday afternoon, where they removed boxes of materials from the home in connection with the shooting at Antioch High School earlier this week.

The suspect, 17-year-old Solomon Henderson, was identified as the shooter in the violent incident. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), officers descended on the home, believed to be the last known address of Henderson, after the tragic events unfolded. The exact contents of the boxes removed by police have not yet been disclosed, but the scene remained active as more than a dozen officers were observed conducting their investigation.

Eyewitnesses shared harrowing accounts of the shooting, including Antioch High School student Valeria Martinez, who described the shocking moment she saw Henderson open fire. “He kind of reached for something, pulled it out, and just started shooting,” Martinez recounted. “I quickly ran out, but I did see some girl fall… I thought I was going to die.”

At this time, authorities have not provided details regarding the condition of the victims or a motive for the attack. The community remains shaken as the investigation continues, with many hoping for answers in the wake of the frightening incident.

The Metro Nashville Police Department has promised to release more information as it becomes available.
