NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place late Tuesday night in Antioch, leaving one person dead and another injured. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the area of Mt. View Drive, prompting a swift response from the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).

According to law enforcement, the victims were shot while inside a vehicle. Both individuals were rushed to local hospitals, where one was confirmed to be injured, and the other was pronounced deceased. At this time, the condition of the injured person remains unclear.

Police have not released further details about the circumstances of the shooting or any potential suspects. The MNPD is actively working to gather information and investigate the case.
