Nashville, TN – A beloved Smyrna eatery, Karin’s Kustard & Hamburgers, is gearing up to reopen its doors just one month after a car crash temporarily forced the restaurant to close. The crash, which occurred on November 26, caused significant damage to the building, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Owner Karin Dyer expressed her gratitude to the community in the aftermath of the incident, acknowledging the outpouring of support the restaurant received. “We are very well-known in the community and the community supports us very well,” Dyer told News 2 shortly after the crash. “I’m very thankful and grateful for what I do for the community and what they do for us.”

The restaurant, a staple in the Smyrna area, has been undergoing repairs since the accident, ensuring that the building is safe and ready for business. On Tuesday, Karin’s Kustard & Hamburgers took to social media to announce its grand reopening, scheduled for Friday, January 3. The restaurant will resume regular hours from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, the business thanked its loyal customers for their support throughout the closure. “We are so beyond thankful for the outpouring of love and support from our community! We thank you all so much!” the post reads. The message also conveyed a sense of spiritual gratitude, with the team adding, “God is so incredibly good and we ultimately want to thank Him! We are so blessed and we cannot wait to serve y’all soon!”

As the reopening approaches, local patrons are excited to once again enjoy the signature custard and burgers that have made Karin’s a go-to spot in the area.
