MT. JULIET, Tenn. — A new development is set to transform part of Mt. Juliet’s retail landscape. “Providence Commons,” a mixed-use project featuring restaurants, shops, and other amenities, is slated to occupy the 600 block of S Mt. Juliet Road. The development will encompass approximately 13,000 square feet of retail space, with early sketches offering a glimpse of the future look of the area.
The first phase of the project includes multi-tenant retail buildings, each around 6,500 square feet, which are designed to accommodate a variety of businesses. Developers have emphasized that the spaces will be equipped with modern features, including ADA compliance and bicycle racks, to ensure accessibility and sustainability.
In addition to the retail component, future plans for the site suggest the possibility of hotels, though specifics on these additions remain unclear.
Though a timeline for the start of construction has not been announced, the developers are already planning for a significant visual impact. The project will feature illuminated signage, creating a dynamic presence that will help draw attention to the area and enhance the surrounding landscape.
As Mt. Juliet continues to grow, Providence Commons is poised to become a key destination for both locals and visitors, offering a blend of shopping, dining, and future accommodations.
