Nashville, TN — A man wanted for attempted murder was taken into custody on January 6, 2025, following an extensive, months-long search. Joshua Robb, 43, had been on the run since November 18, 2024, when authorities issued a warrant for his arrest in connection with attempted second-degree homicide.

The Gallatin Police Department (GPD), along with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Portland Police Department, worked together in a coordinated effort to locate Robb. His capture was announced by GPD on Monday, marking the end of an ongoing investigation that had seen law enforcement agencies across the region pursuing the fugitive.

In addition to the attempted homicide charge, Robb is facing multiple other criminal charges, including aggravated assault, parole violation, failure to appear in court, and violating an order of protection. GPD officials had previously described Robb as “armed and dangerous,” heightening the urgency of his capture.

Following his arrest, the GPD confirmed that Robb is being interviewed in connection with the ongoing investigation into the case.

Authorities expressed gratitude for the teamwork that led to Robb’s apprehension. “Thanks to the dedication and teamwork of all agencies involved, Robb was successfully apprehended today,” the GPD said in a statement.

Robb’s arrest brings an end to a tense and prolonged manhunt, providing some relief to the community and law enforcement alike. The investigation remains active, with more information expected to be released as the case progresses.
