NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting on Woodale Lane last month was apprehended Tuesday night in Texas, authorities announced.
The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) reported that on Sunday, May 18, Kelveonna Holmes, her 24-year-old boyfriend, and their 3-year-old son were visiting a residence in the 2400 block of Woodale Lane when the incident occurred. While still inside their vehicle, another car drove by and opened fire.

She later succumbed to her injuries. Her boyfriend suffered a graze wound and was treated and released from the hospital. Their child was unharmed.
The MNPD’s Homicide Unit led the investigation, recovering the suspected vehicle involved in Cheatham County. Investigators identified 21-year-old Dhaeton Hodge as a suspect in the case.
Hodge was arrested at a motel in the Fort Worth area of Texas. He faces charges of criminal homicide and two counts of attempted criminal homicide. He is currently being held as a fugitive pending extradition to Nashville.
The investigation remains ongoing.
