MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Broad Street was closed Friday morning following a serious crash at the intersection of NW Broad Street and Medical Center Parkway.

The accident occurred around 5:45 a.m., resulting in downed power lines and a telephone pole obstructing the roadway. Authorities quickly responded to the scene, and traffic is currently being diverted at the bridge over Broad Street.
