Clarksville, Tenn. — An Endangered Child Alert has been issued for 17-year-old Johnathan Roe, who was reported missing after running away from his home in Clarksville early Friday morning. Authorities are actively searching for the teenager, who has autism and requires daily medication that he has not taken recently.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, Johnathan was last seen around 2:30 a.m. on Friday on Randall Drive. Reports indicate he ran into a wooded area near his home, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.

Johnathan is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Due to his medical condition, police are particularly concerned about his well-being, as he has not had access to his medication since going missing.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has issued an Endangered Child Alert for the teenager, urging anyone with information to come forward. As of the latest reports, local law enforcement and several officers from the Clarksville Police Department have been conducting a widespread search in the area.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., firefighters in the vicinity reported possibly seeing Johnathan but were unable to make contact as he fled the area. In response, authorities have established a perimeter around Park Lane, and Stewart County officers have joined the search, bringing in a tracking dog to assist in locating the teenager.

The TBI is asking anyone who may have seen Johnathan or has any information on his whereabouts to contact 911 immediately or call the TBI’s confidential tip line at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant as the search for Johnathan continues, with hopes of bringing him home safely. No further information has been released at this time.
