Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Bellevue Crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning in the Bellevue area, leaving them with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. in the 600 block of Old Hickory Boulevard, near McKay’s Bookstore.

Metro Police reported that the bicyclist was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released the identity of the individual or further details about the extent of their injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

In response to the crash, authorities closed Old Hickory Boulevard in both directions, creating traffic disruptions in the area. At this time, the investigation is ongoing, and no additional information has been provided.
