Clarksville, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that occurred Monday evening on Pollard Road. At approximately 6:18 p.m., a vehicle with five occupants was traveling along Pollard Road near Dublin Drive when it lost control and overturned. Tragically, one of the occupants was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and two additional victims were transported to Tennova Healthcare by EMS personnel. A third individual was airlifted via LifeFlight helicopter to a Nashville hospital for further treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
Authorities have called in the Fatal Accident Crash Team to process the scene and investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. While the cause of the accident has not yet been determined, the investigation is ongoing.
As of now, police have not released the names of the individuals involved. The incident has raised concerns in the community, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
