One injured in early morning crash on Ashland City Road

Clarksville, Tenn. — A two-vehicle crash on Ashland City Road in Clarksville left one person with serious injuries on Sunday morning. The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) responded to the scene around 6:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Ashland City Road, where officers discovered that one of the vehicles involved was fully engulfed in flames.

Clarksville Fire Rescue quickly arrived and extinguished the fire. Authorities confirmed that no individuals were inside the burning vehicle at the time.

One individual sustained injuries in the crash and was airlifted to a Nashville hospital for treatment. A second person was transported by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare for further care. Their conditions have not been disclosed.

As emergency crews investigated the scene, a portion of Ashland City Road was reduced to one lane of traffic, causing some disruptions for motorists. The police have not released additional details regarding the crash, including the cause of the accident or the identities of those involved.

The investigation remains ongoing.
