NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A local business owner is dealing with the aftermath of her car being stolen for the second time, with the suspect caught on surveillance footage.

Bianca Bentley, the owner of Enchant Me Beauty, a shop located on Whites Creek Pike in East Nashville, was shocked to find her vehicle, a white Hyundai Sonata, missing earlier this week. Bentley, a mother of four, had just finished working for the day when she discovered the car, which contained important items for her business, was gone.

“I got done working, and I went out to leave and my car was missing again — for the second time,” Bentley told News 2. “I guess he waited for the perfect opportunity to get into the car and steal it.”

This isn’t the first time Bentley has been targeted. The same suspect is believed to have stolen her vehicle before, but on that occasion, Bentley was able to recover the car. However, this time the thief made off with the keys, making it impossible for Bentley to retrieve her vehicle.

“I don’t know him,” Bentley said of the suspect. “He’s been in my business, but I’ve never seen him before.”

The situation has left Bentley not only without a vehicle she relies on for work but also struggling to manage her business and family responsibilities. The car contained car seats and other essential items, adding to the challenge of her day-to-day life.

Saaneah Jamison, a friend and client of Bentley’s, is stepping in to help support her through this difficult time. “As women running businesses, we all know it’s difficult,” Jamison said. “But we can also support each other by spreading the word, booking, and helping her overcome this moment.”

The community support has been vital to Bentley as she tries to move forward. However, the ongoing thefts highlight the vulnerabilities small business owners face in an area that, while vibrant, is not without its challenges when it comes to security.

Authorities are currently investigating the theft, and Bentley is hoping the surveillance footage of the suspect will lead to the car’s return and the thief’s capture. In the meantime, Bentley continues to rely on the support of her clients and community as she navigates this unsettling experience.

Anyone with information about the theft or the suspect is urged to contact local authorities.
