Nashville, Tenn. — A shooting early Wednesday morning at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Downtown Nashville left two people injured, according to authorities.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 800 block of Rep. John Lewis Way. Upon arrival, they discovered that the suspect had walked out of the club, retrieved a firearm from his vehicle, and opened fire on a red Cadillac.
Two men were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting. The driver was struck by multiple gunshots and is currently suffering from life-threatening injuries. The passenger, who was also hit, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both victims were quickly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The suspect fled the scene following the shooting, driving away in an unknown direction. Authorities have not yet released any information about the suspect’s identity but indicated that they are pursuing strong leads in the case.
