MT. JULIET, Tenn. — The Mt. Juliet Police Department (MJPD) made three separate arrests on Wednesday, each involving wanted suspects identified during routine traffic stops.

In the first incident, officers pulled over a delivery box truck on Golden Bear Gateway after it ran a red light. Upon further investigation, authorities discovered a 32-year-old passenger from Smyrna had a felony theft warrant out of Nashville. The man had been wanted since September 2019.

A second arrest occurred on Pleasant Grove Road when an officer stopped a vehicle that was missing a license plate. The driver, a 28-year-old man from Hohenwald, was found to have multiple warrants for failure to appear in court for non-payment of child support. These warrants originated in Lewis County, where the man had missed multiple court dates.

The third arrest took place along Interstate 40 East, where a truck was stopped for several alleged violations, including speeding, expired tags, and unlawful window tint. The driver, a 49-year-old man from Nashville, was found to have an active warrant for a parole violation. The man had been on parole for multiple drug sales convictions and had previously been charged by the MJPD in June 2024 for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The arrests were part of routine traffic enforcement efforts by the MJPD, which continues to target wanted individuals in the area.
