The incident, which occurred just after 11 p.m. on March 12, led to the closure of the westbound lanes near Waldron Road.

By 4 a.m. Thursday, the westbound lanes between Smyrna and La Vergne remained closed, prompting authorities to advise drivers to seek alternate routes.
