CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Clarksville police are investigating a pedestrian crash that temporarily shut down part of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Monday evening.

The incident occurred around 6:54 p.m. near Center Pointe Drive, prompting an immediate response from emergency services. According to the Clarksville Police Department, the victim, a male pedestrian, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a Nashville hospital via helicopter. His condition remains unknown at this time.

The department’s Fatal Accident Crash Team has been called to the scene to assist with the investigation. Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the crash or the identity of the individual involved.
