NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Authorities in Nashville are searching for a vehicle involved in a road rage shooting that left one person injured early Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. on February 8 in the 4000 block of Nolensville Pike, according to Metro Nashville dispatch.

The shooting followed a confrontation between the driver of an Infiniti sedan and the driver of a Toyota Yaris. Reports indicate that the two motorists exchanged words before the Infiniti driver opened fire on the Toyota, striking the 26-year-old passenger in the knee.

Injured and in need of help, the Toyota driver immediately drove into a nearby fast food parking lot, where they called for assistance. Meanwhile, the Infiniti fled the scene, speeding away before authorities could respond.

Metro Nashville Police Department officials have described the suspect vehicle as an older model Infiniti sedan, with light gray or silver paint and black rims. A photo of the vehicle, believed to be connected to the shooting, was shared by authorities in hopes of gathering more information from the public.

Anyone with information regarding the Infiniti or the shooting is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Law enforcement is actively investigating the incident and seeks assistance in locating the vehicle involved.

As of now, the investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are working to track down the suspect driver.
