NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Law enforcement surrounded the Antioch home of Solomon Henderson, the 17-year-old identified as the shooter at Antioch High School, on Wednesday afternoon. Officers were seen removing boxes of material from the residence as part of the ongoing investigation.

Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) confirmed their presence at Henderson’s last known address in Antioch, where more than a dozen officers were observed conducting the search. The contents of the boxes removed from the home have not been disclosed, and authorities have yet to release additional details regarding the investigation.

The shooting, which took place earlier this week, sent shockwaves through the Antioch community. Valeria Martinez, an Antioch High School student and neighbor, recounted her harrowing experience to local news outlets.

“He kind of reached for something, pulled it out and just started shooting,” Martinez said. “I quickly ran out, but I did see some girl fall…I thought I was going to die.”

Martinez’s testimony highlights the chaotic and frightening scene that unfolded at the school. Law enforcement has yet to release further details about the shooting or any possible motives behind the attack. However, as officers continue their investigation, the community remains on edge, hoping for answers as to what led to the violent outburst.

The investigation into Henderson’s background and potential connections to the school shooting is ongoing. As authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the incident, questions regarding the shooter’s intent and any prior warning signs remain unanswered. The police have not indicated whether Henderson had been previously known to them or the school system.

As the investigation continues, authorities urge anyone with information to come forward, while the community comes to terms with the tragic events that unfolded in their midst.
