NASHVILLE, TN— A 29-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot early Sunday morning in North Nashville. Authorities say the incident occurred shortly after 3:30 a.m. in the 3100 block of Brickdale Lane.

The Metro Nashville Police Department responded to the scene, where they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators later determined that the shooting occurred during an argument between the victim and an acquaintance.

According to officials, the suspect allegedly dragged the victim outside after the shooting and attempted to clean up the crime scene. The victim, whose next of kin have yet to be located, was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Doctors have indicated that he is not expected to survive.

At this time, police are continuing their investigation and have not made any arrests. The identity of the suspect remains unknown. Authorities are also working to notify the victim’s family.

This remains a developing story.
