Nashville, TN – Detectives with the Vehicle Crimes and Burglary Unit are investigating a break-in that occurred on Slaydon Drive in East Nashville on December 28, and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two young male suspects involved in the crime.

Around 4:30 a.m. on the day of the burglary, the suspects entered the home by breaking a rear window. The homeowners were out of town at the time, and the suspects took advantage of the empty house to search for valuables. During their search, they located keys to a white 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck, which is believed to have been used in several recent car break-ins in the East Nashville area.

After taking the keys, the suspects drove off in the pickup truck, which is equipped with dark tinted windows. A surveillance camera at a neighboring property captured one of the suspects during the incident, and authorities have released a still image of the individual in hopes of gathering more leads.

The truck and the suspects are now part of an ongoing investigation by local authorities. Police are urging anyone who recognizes the individual in the surveillance photo or who spots the white Ford F-150 to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.

As the investigation continues, authorities are reminding residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
